Safety

We believe that children should have a blast at church every single week – and at Joshua Methodist, we make this a priority.   The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our kids’ program. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes or so to get your children signed in and situated.

Nursery

Joshua Methodist offers families with small children a safe, secure nursery in the Education Building for infants and toddlers up to 4 years old.

Our Nursery Team is comprised of staff who are MinistrySafe certified and CPR/First Aid trained.

We want parents and families to feel as comfortable leaving their children in our care as children are excited to be here with us!

Nursery is offered every Sunday during worship service.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Children’s Church teaches kids fun and different ways to worship God, while still focusing on our current sermon series for a kid’s perspective.

We believe in building a strong faith foundation early in life, all children are invited to participate in worship. Activity bags are in the Worship Center and filled with age-appropriate Bible lessons, coloring pages, and other quiet activities.

Families in need of privacy or a less crowded space during worship are invited to the Soothing Room located near the women’s restrooms. Changing tables are conveniently located in all restrooms.
